The meeting point for the lessons is at La Patinoire, next to the Champ Giguet (bottom of the village).
We advise you to arrive 5 minutes before the start of the lesson.
Please bring your ski/snowboard equipment and your lift pass.
Your child can start skiing from the age of 4, in private or group lessons.
At La Clusaz, we do not have a "kindergarden".
The children start straight away on green slopes. Learning the technique of skiing without even noticing it, thanks to specially designed games created just for them.
Your child will quickly become independent on ski lifts and on green slopes.
All children in private or group ski lessons, must have a ski pass (transport ticket) BEFORE coming to the lesson.
Regardless of their level, they need to use the ski lifts to reach the learning areas.
It all depends on the ski/snow level of the person.
The learning ground is at the discretion of the instructor according to the expectations/level of the student but also the safety conditions of the day.
For beginners, we play mainly on the Beauregard ski area.
It depends on the period you will come in La Clusaz.
For the February holidays, we suggest you to book as soon as possible.
The helmet is not mandatory but it is highly recommended.
The office of the ski school is situated at the 17 passage des novalles in La Clusaz; in the upper part of the village next to the ski shop SKI SET SPORT BOUTIQUE and the nursing office.
During the low-season, January, March and April, group lessons are from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 11.30am.
During the school holidays, group classes start on Sunday and end on Friday.
For the Christmas and New Year weeks, you can choose between morning classes (8.55-10.55) or lunchtime classes (11.00-13.30).
During the winter school holidays we have different times :
* in the morning, from 8.45am to 10.45am for the SOURIS and PREMIUM courses
* lunchtime, from 11am to 1.30pm for all levels
* in the afternoon, from 2pm to 5pm for all levels as well as snow, freeride and tribe lessons

5 children max in the premium group lessons.
6 children max in the mouse club and in the low season group lessons.
8 children max in the ski, snow, tribe and freeride group lessons.

We accept children from the age of 10 who have ESI diamond crystal level or ESF gold star level.
In group lessons, we accept children from 9 years old.
For private lessons, there is no age limit.
No, there is no test at the end of the week to avoid pressure.
Each child leaves with a medal and an ESI passport attesting to the progress made during the week.
Regardless of the weather conditions, lessons are guaranteed as long as the lifts are open.
In case of bad weather, please dress yourself and/or your children accordingly.
Our office is located at the top of the village, whereas the start of the lessons is at the bottom of the village on the snow front.
If you have received your lesson card by email and you know the meeting point for the start of the lessons, you do not need to come to the ski school office the day before.
All our instructors speak English.
Some of them also speak Spanish, Dutch, German, Russian and Italian.
The nearest ski pass sales point is located opposite our course start at La Patinoire (open 7 days a week from 8.45am to 4.30pm).

All the points of sale are equipped with a collection point: You need to be in possession of the confirmation QR code (received by email) to collect your order.
In case of illness and/or allergies, it is preferable to inform the instructor so that he/she can act accordingly in case of problems.
Don't panic, the instructor is a professional and is used to these situations, so you should :

All ski instructors follow the same ski training!
No, skipass are not included in the lessons.
Ski instructors have a state diploma which is issued by the Youth and Sports Directorate following their training by the National School of Skiing and Mountaineering (ENSA).
We refund all the money and without proof if the cancellation takes place 48h before the start of the first lesson.
After this period and even upon presentation of a medical certificate, the lessons can't be refunded.
